June 27. 1847 - "Following services in Detroit Saturday afternoon, the body of Millard F. Crego, who died June 18, at Albany, N.Y., was brought to Oxford for burial the same afternoon. He was the son of Mrs. Grace Crego, formerly of Lake Orion, and nephew of the late Mrs. Ben Sheldon. He ís survived by his wife, Rosalie; his mother; a son, Ronald, and a brother, Ora B. Crego, DDS, of Detroit.

October 9, 1936 "35 Years Ago" column - "Guy Lyon, Will Crego and Jim Smith have secured positions as conductors on the United Railway in Detroit, the former on Jefferson Avenue and the others on Michigan avenue. The company will find these young men honest and trustworthy."
June 28, 1935 - "Mr. and Mrs. Millard F. Crego and son, Ronald, of Sioux City, Iowa, left for their home Wednesday after a very enjoyable week's vacation at the home of the former's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Sheldon. On Sunday, Mr. Crego's brother, Dr. Ora Crego, and his mother, Mrs. Grace Crego, of Detroit, also Mrs. Eda McCarty, of Oxford, were guests at the same home."
