June 4, 1936 - "Announcement was made the first of this week of the engagement and approaching marriage of Harold H. Edsill, a former La Porte City boy, and Miss Katherine Morris of Waterloo. The ceremony will take place on June 26th, in the Morris home.
Harold Edsill is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Audrey Edsill and the family lived in this vicinity until a few years ago, when they moved to Waterloo. He completed his high school course in the local school with the class of 1929. He is employed in the Rath packing plant. Miss Morris is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Morris and is known to a number of local people through visits here.
