July 22, 1938 - "A cooperative dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Middleton Sunday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Olds and three small daughters, Betty Lou, Juanita and Mary Jean, from Miami, Florida. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs Harry Sutton and son, Bob, of Lake Angelus; Mrs J. Sutton, of California; Mr. and Mrs Zephyr Axford and Mr. and Mrs Wallace Furbur, of Rochester; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kollinger and son, Lester, of North Detroit; Mr. and Mrs Lester Patton and baby son, Darrell, of Williams Lake; Earl Middleton, of Lake Orion, and Jimmy and Junior Middleton."
September 3, 1953 - "Mr. and Mrs. Frank Olds and five of their six lovely daughters of Hollywood, Florida visited their uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Frank Middleton on Monday. The girls are named Betty, Mari, Jean, Jan, Frankie and Mabel. Sister Ann remained at home. Mrs Olds is the former Frances Bailey.".

1875-03-24 - "Elmore Bailey, son of Wm. Bailey, has had a severe time of inflammation and congestion of the lungs. But by good care and skillful treatment of Doctor Goodenough, of Clarkston, is improving finely. This is a second narrow escape, if such it may be termed, that Elmore has had."
1875-11-24 - "Elmore Bailey was kicked by a horse the other day in the side laming him somewhat."
1878-05-29 - "Elmore Bailey, a young man of this place [Bailey Lake], was recently thrown from a buggy, breaking his left arm and dislocating his shoulder."
1904-04-14 - "Bailey who lives four miles southwest of town [Oxford] lost his house by fire Saturday."
Bailey triplets are listed in the cemetery records for the Square Lake Cemetery, Orion Twp., Oakland County, MI in section CO9 along with Elmer B. Bailey and Caroline Bailey Howard. However no stone for them could be found.

1876-02-16 - "Wm. Bailey has had a valuable horse so badly kicked by another, as to ruin it."
1881-05-25 - "Wm. Bailey has gone to Ogemaw county to visit his four sons who are located there on large farms."
