"ALLEN L. SWAINSTON, 46, Gleason Street, Orange City, died Tuesday, Sept. 30. Mr. Swainston was an engineer for the Department of Transportation. Born in Flint, Mich., he moved to the area in 1978 from Altamonte Springs. He was a member of the Volusia County Baptist Church. Survivors: wife, Betty; daughters, Rebecca, Orange City, Victoria Stoll, Deltona; parents Warren and Rosetta Swainston, DeLand; one grandchild. Lankford Funeral Home, DeLand.".

Wright, Irving A. 309 W. Kearsley St., age 67, died Tuesday, July 13th, 1937, at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m, Thursday, July 15, from Groves & Co. Funeral Home. Burial in Avondale cemetery. Remains will be at Groves & Co. funeral home. Surviving are: wife Lena, 3 daughters, Mrs. Eva Stewart of Flint, Mrs. Lola Roe of South Branch, Michigan, and Mrs. Lillian LaPratt of Alma, Michigan, 3 sons, Ernest, Laverne and Floyd Wright all of Flint, 24 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter 1 sister Ruperta Wart (Ward) of Cleveland, Ohio.

Wright, Lena, 3107 E. Baldwin Rd., age 100, died Sunday, October 22nd, 1972, at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 1972, at Colonial Chapel, Reigle Funeral Home, Rev. Floyd Wehner officiating. Committal services will be held at Parkview Memorial Gardens, Plymouth Mich. at 1pm. Mrs. Wright was born in Ingham County, Michigan, April 12th, 1872 and had lived in this area over 50 years. Mrs. Wright celebrated her 100th birthday last April. She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church in Ypsilanti. Surviving are: 3 daughters, Mrs. Eva Stewart of Orlando, Florida, Mrs. Lola Roe of Flint and Mrs. Lillian LaPratt of Keego Harbor, Michigan; 2 sons, LaVerne Wright of Grand Blanc and Earnest Wright of Flint.
